I wouldn't say you're doing anything "wrong" necessarily, hard to judge at this stage. You're getting some growth, starting a bare screen from scratch can take a few months before it really gets going to the point be being effective filtration.

I'd stay the course at this point.

The lighting may not be ideal - white might not yield the best results, but right now it doesn't look like it's doing horribly. It also looks like it's only covering about 1/4 to 1/3 of the screen effectively, but again, you're not getting a "hotspot" so that's good, and your screen appears oversized in relation to the amount you feed and the size of your system, so that sort of balances out.

The build looks nice, the drip-bar is interesting. Are those screw-in fittings on the underside of the pipe, or just tubes bonded on? Looks like you're getting nice even flow.

Thanks for sharing, I think I saw you post this on FB

Just rinse under tap water and swipe your palm across each side, rinse again, good to go

i see difference moving from total 6w to total 10w at day 7 , there is a central paler patch and a sort of hair algae at day 14, 4 days after the first clean.

I would not harvest anything until you have at least 1/4" of growth. Just rub & rinse to detach any loosely attached growth.

Yes, there is almost always a slime stage initially. Some last longer than others

You need to put them all in series, not parallel
