I thought you were going to try and frag it

It frags easily..that's not a problem ...but it refuses to eat. Other than that it looks healthy. Plenty of zooxanthellaes..

I'll start cycling the tank next week:
    - fish-less
    - dry rocks & dry sand
    - dr. tim aquatics one & only formula + ammonium chloride (1 drop per gallon of aquarium water)

My question is, when do I turn on the ATS and for how many hours?
Any other suggestions like skimmer or no skimmer?

    Thanks.

I would start with just a few hours/day, probably no more than 6

I had to add a skimmer bcz the dry rock was dirtier than it looked, it generated a huge amount of ammonium and other nasty smells and colors. Also, I had to do 2 massive water changes.

On the 15-day of fishless cycling, ammonium zero, waiting for the nitrite level to go down.
