Yup, I would leave everything alone for the first 2-4 weeks, set the scrubber lighting at the halfway point (where you have it set now) and 9-12 hours/day, leave it there for the same 2-4 weeks. Check it a couple times a week, you might start getting some slimy growth, you will want to rinse that off as often as 2x/wk but you may not need to at all. It's a quick cleaning, just swipe with the palm of your hand and rinse under tap water, done.
Top of thread, uppoer right corner "Thread Tools" -> Edit thread (but I did it for ya)

You won't have that option in Tapatalk. I'm considering getting rid of that anyway because they harvest all the forum data

You will want to pick at the clumps to thin them out, just use your fingers/fingernails to remove about 1/2 or more of the clumps that are about the size of a quarter or larger. Screens start up this way occasionally - it's a good sign/start!

    The chaeto is fine

As for the rest of the screen (away from the clumps), you will want to rinse that under room-temp tap water, low flow (don't turn the faucet on full blast etc) and rub gently with your fingertips while rinsing. Just a quick rinse, you just want to rinse away any loose attachment or slime type growth. Some of the clumps might come free easily during this process so you can start with this and then pick away at the clumps only if needed

    Keep us posted!

You don't necessarily want longer hair algae, you want thicker growth! You'll get there!
