This is one that always bugged me, vBulletin has options for setting the "Datestamp" on each post, but you can only choose between having it show seconds/minutes/hours/days/weeks ago of the post the day of the week of the post, or the exact date/time stamp I like the first because you can see how recent a post was, not relative to your clock. But, after the post is 7 days old, it's "1 week ago" and this does nothing if you want to reference the date/time of one of your posts, or if you need to go back and figure out the age of a test result or photo you posted for comparison purposes. The date/time stamp does this, but then if you want to figure out how recent a new post was, you have to look at the clock and do the math. I do enough math every day, I don't need to be constantly mathing all the time!!! So, why not have both? Well, thanks to the expertise of the vBulletin programming crowd and my fantastic ability to locate and replace code and check a few boxes, we've got both now. Take that, datestamp function!
Wow that is great! I really think that this is the way all of the forums should have it displayed! Are you a IT guy?
