I got the Rev4 L2 ATS today.

The screen was definitely dried out but didn't seem to be cracking or anything. I have it soaking in a bowl of tap water now. Wanted to start a thread so that this is documented in case anyone else has this issue.

I am hoping to not have to re-mortar it if I don't have to. How long do you think I need to soak it for?

How do you think I will know if it was successfully "rehydrated"?

This only applies to the first batch or so of Rev 2 scrubbers I sent out. I have more recently been using 3" of hose instead of 1". When your screen is growing heavily, the algae strands will get long, and these strands will extend under the false bottom. When you remove the screen, strands can detach and will end up floating in the water in the bottom of the box.

Use a soft-bristled brush to remove any algae from the bottom of the box. When I say "remove", it's really "snagging" the...
