I'll be upgrading my ATS in a few months but at the moment I have a convenient space in my sump available for a macro chamber. I figured people working with waterfall scrubbers would be the best group to ask this question to. I would like to use a piece of acrylic over my sump to block salt spray. Is there any particular brand of acrylic sheet that would be better for transmitting light from my LEDs? I will be using a range from 430 nm to 660 nm. The Optix brand acrylic carried at Lowes and Home Depot has label indicating that it's "UV resistant", would this filter out any of the light that I should be using for algae growth? Thanks for the help.
