hello, i began snooping into these algae scrubbers and i must admit, i like what i see! only thing i haven't really seen is how these are mounted/placed? i seen the drain tube is on the bottom of the scrubber correct? can these be used as a remote external unit? if anyone has pictures of how they have it setup, i would love to see! thanks!
@tom yes there are many ways you can mount a scrubber. Generally, if it's an open-air type, you are limited to over the sump or over the tank. If you're talking an enclosed type, then you can hard-plumb a drain in many ways and that opens up the possibility of remote-mounting as an option
