Due to a recent uptick in attempted spammer registrations ("onslaught" would be a more appropriate term) I have beefed up the spam-bot protection quite a bit. If your browser is using Autocomplete to fill in all the fields, this might cause a "false positive" and flag you as a spammer and temporarily block your IP address. While this is not highly likely, it is possible. If anyone is having difficulty registering a user account, please fill out the "Contact Us" form (link at bottom of every page). Here's the link: Contact Us | Algae Scrubbing Additionally, if you use Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail (anything Microsoft) you will want to monitor your junk mail folder for a reply (by logging into your account through a browser, not on your PC or phone junk mail folders). This applies to both my response to your Contact Us form as well as the registration confirmation email (and all forum alert emails) Here are some guidelines for "White-listing" the forum email/domain with various services: Attention: Yahoo e-mail users Attention: Gmail users Attention: AOL e-mail users Attention: Hotmail (or any Microsoft) e-mail users Thanks!
